The Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x40 riflescope has undergone a complete redesign. It is now brighter, stronger, and lighter. Additionally, the Crossfire series is built to outperform other riflescopes in the same price range. Features include greater eye relief, a fast-focus eyepiece, fully multi-coated lenses, and resettable turrets. The hard-anodized aluminum tube is crafted from a single piece, and nitrogen filling and O-ring sealing ensure complete water, fog, and dust resistance.
This riflescope is a Second Focal Plane (SFP) scope, meaning that the reticle size remains constant as you zoom in. In contrast, First Focal Plane (FFP) scopes have a reticle that changes size as you zoom. The reticle becomes larger when zooming in and smaller when zooming out.
