The nitrogen gas and O-ring seal provide complete water, fog and dust resistance.

The Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40 Rifle Scope is ideal for shooting at shorter distances and fast moving targets, it is suitable for heavy caliber. This rifle scope has a Second Focal Plane reticle, which means that the reticle will stay the same size when zooming in or out. This is different from a First Focal Plane reticle, where the reticle will be larger when zooming in and smaller when zooming out. The Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40 Rifle Scope is a second focal plane rifle scope with a V-Plex crosshair (MOA) reticle. The V-Plex reticle is an all-round reticle for both hunting and target shooting.
