PST stands for Precision Shooting Tactical, these rifle scopes are for shooters who are looking for precision. This Generation 2 rifle scope is the renewed, better version from the Vortex Viper PST 1 series. The renewed gen 2 features improved options, making the results even better than the Vortex Viper PST 1 series.
The Vortex Viper PST Gen II 1-6x24 SFP Rifle Scope Rifle Scope is made of a 30mm aluminum tube of the highest quality. The aluminum which is used is also used in aircraft construction, and the rifle scope is made out of one piece. The Viper Generation 2 rifle scopes are equipped with the RZR zero stop technology, which is copied from the Razor HD rifle scopes. This patented technology prevents you from turning under the sight-in distance and losing your settings. The light switch is easy to access, it is integrated into the Parallax / Side Focus adjustment button. It can be set in 10 different intensity levels of lighting with an off-function between each setting. Under normal circumstances, the battery will last for 250 hours.
Optics wise, the PST Gen II viewers have impressive image quality, the XD ™ lens elements are of high quality and offer incredible resolution and crystal clear view. The lenses are XR™ fully coated and increase the light transmission for optimu visibility. The ArmorTek® coating protects the outside of the lenses against scratches, oil and dirt. All rifle scopes within the PST Gen II feature an etched reticle, which are highly functional, detailed and offer an optimal view.

This rifle scope has a Second Focal Plane reticle, which means that the reticle will stay the same size when zooming in or out. This is different from a First Focal Plane reticle, than the reticle will be larger when zooming in and smaller when zooming out.
