This cleaning rod adapter is designed to fit existing US cleaning rods with 8/32" UNC thread, such as those from Hoppe’s or Outer. With this adapter, you can use VFG cleaning felts. Simply screw the adapter onto your cleaning rod, then attach the VFG felts for your chosen caliber. The VFG cleaning pellets with a hole can easily slide over the adapter’s threaded portion. The included nut ensures that the cleaning pellets stay securely in place during barrel cleaning. This adapter features 8/32" UNC external thread (male).
In summary, the Adaptor allows you to customize your cleaning rod for use with VFG felts, regardless of the caliber.
